There are many important decisions to take when planning (and budgeting!) your wedding.
"Is it worth getting a wedding photographer? ... Should I hire a wedding planner? ... Do I need to give wedding presents? ... How can I find a DJ I like?"
Believe me, I have been there and I know how stressful it can be. So let me help you with the first question and give you my opinion on why hiring a professional wedding photographer is of the best investments you could do for your wedding.
But first, let's talk about the power of images.
Why do photos matter to us?
Great photographs help tell a story by creating a visual narrative, captivating and maintaining the viewer's attention. They represent emotions, moments, people, and a legacy to leave behind. Photos are art.

So once we have deepen it the power a photos, we should ask ourselves.
Why do I want to hire a professional photographer for my wedding?
1. In one of the most important days of your life, you want things done right
Maybe a family member or a friend offers you to take the photos of your special day, and it is a fantastic thing to offer! But do you really want to leave these memories to chance? The joy, love and excitement of your wedding day must be captured by someone that knows how to capture best those special moments, that has the skills to take portraits, to work indoors, outdoors, at sunset, on a dancefloor, with different light settings, in movement. Someone who adapts quickly to the different situations and scenarios.
2. The photos of your wedding should be aligned with YOUR style
There are many types of wedding photography (traditional, artistic, editorial, portraits, documentary, destination, among others) as well as different styles of editing and photographing. When checking for wedding photographers, you and your partner need to decide which photography style you like, and I don't mean that you need to know the details of all these types, but you do need to connect with the aesthetics of the photographer you choose.
3. You should focus only on enjoying your big day
Planning a wedding is stressful, so when the big day comes, you should focus only on enjoying every second of it, every person in it, every emotion that comes along, and the magic created by you and your loved ones. A photographer who has experience with weddings, knows when the key moments are coming, captures what knows it matters to the couple and gives always that extra to tell the whole story.
Where to start?
Well, the most common places are in social media platforms like Instagram, or in specialized sites for wedding planning like The Knot.
